1. What is Flatfigures.com?
Flatfigures.com is an online shop for digital CAD figures and CAD objects designed for architectural drawings, visualizations, and presentations. The files offered are reduced in design and conceived for use in planning, design, and representation.
2. What file formats will I receive?
After purchase, the content will be available for download in DWG format as well as additional PDF files.
3. What scale are the files created in?
The files are created to a scale of 1:100. They can be scaled in your CAD program depending on project requirements.
4. Are the files compatible with my drawing program?
The DWG files are generally compatible with common CAD programs that support the DWG format. Full compatibility with every software version or operating system cannot be guaranteed.
5. How do I receive my files after purchase?
After completing the purchase process, the files are immediately available for download. You will also receive an email with a download link.
6. How long are the downloads available?
Downloads are available indefinitely, as long as your customer account exists and the respective content is offered in the shop.
7. Do I need a customer account?
Yes. For technical reasons, a customer account is required to manage purchased content and download it again. The customer account is automatically created during the purchase process.
8. May I use the files commercially?
Yes. The use of the files is permitted for private, student, and commercial architecture and design projects, particularly for:
- Architectural and execution plans
- Visualizations and presentations
- Competition documents
- Projects by architectural and design offices
The prerequisite is that the files are used exclusively as part of your own planning or design services and do not constitute the essential value of the end product.
9. What is not allowed?
Specifically not permitted is:
- the resale, transfer, or gifting of the files
- the publication or provision of the original or edited files (DWG, PDF) on external platforms
- the use for creating your own CAD libraries or competing products
- the resale of even modified versions
- sharing the files via publicly accessible cloud services or networks
10. May I edit the files?
Yes. Technical adjustments such as scaling, mirroring, or recoloring are permitted, provided that the use is exclusively within the scope of your own projects.
The copyrights remain with Flatfigures or the respective rights holder in any case.
11. Do I have a right of withdrawal?
Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
12. When does the right of withdrawal expire?
The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if you expressly agree at the time of purchase that the performance of the contract begins before the end of the withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Section 356 (5) German Civil Code (BGB)).
13. Are there any exceptions or goodwill arrangements?
In case of technical problems or faulty files, we will of course assist you. However, returns or refunds of already downloaded digital content are generally excluded.
14. Does Flatfigures assume liability for the use of the files?
Flatfigures is liable within the framework of statutory provisions. Liability for damages arising from improper use, incorrect application, or incompatibilities is excluded, as far as legally permissible.
